BENIN CITY-As the
purported governor's endorsed Governorship Aspirant under the Platform of the
APC Mr. Godwin Obaseki tactically suspends his official governorship flag off scheduled
for today, 29th April. 2016. Arc. Ilenre Austin becomes the only aspirant in
the race that would bring unity among aspirants.
The latest
happenings within the political rooms of the ruling APC in Edo State has
resulted in an unavoidable split into factions as the aspirants have passed a
vote of no confidence on the Party Chairman Hon Aslem Ojezua because of his
double stands. A build up of this tension has left to the rumored or
unconfirmed withdrawal of Godwin Obaseki from the Governorship race.
An insider
revealed that a new and fresh aspirant, Arc. Ilenre Austin Emuan, an architect
by profession, has been penciled down to settle all factions as any aspirant
picked from any of the factions would amount to post primaries crisis which is
avoidable by the emergence of a neutral person of Arc. Ilenre Austin Emuan.
