THEME: YOU SHALL DECREE A THING (Sunday 28-06-2015)

Beloved, we are product of our declarations, every word altered consciously or unconsciously will either build or destroy our lives, may you receive grace to speak good to your life in Jesus name.

Pastor Daniel

There is power in our declaration; whatever is happening in our life is a result of what we have consciously or unconsciously declared.

Prov. 18:21 states that death and life are in the power of tongue if your thoughts are centered on the negatives, then your declaration will also be centered on the negative and vice versa; you cannot live above your declaration or rather you are a product of your declaration numbers 14:28

Sound is the precursor of every creative changes, that was why in genesis 1:1-3 God wanting to bring orderliness to a chaotic earth spoke out light, He said let there be light and there was light. God’s word cannot be separated from His name (psalm 138:2), and He honored His word above all things and any word God has altered cannot return to Him empty but shall accomplish that which He please, And shall prosper in the thing whereto He sent it Isaiah 55:11.

Remember the bible says ye are gods ( John 10:34), thus every believer in Christ Jesus is a bona-fide creator and having creative ability must be able to decree.

The battle field between light and darkness, good and evil, blessings and curses, sickness and health, poverty and richness, life and death, success and failure e.t.c is in our mind and the words we speak satisfies our mind just as fruit does the stomach; thus words kill, words give life, they are either poison or fruit the choice is ours.

Brethren it is time to quit asking God to do something He has already done in Christ Ephesians 1:3; it is time to decree, proclaim and declare the divine will He has already completed at the cross.

To decree means to give an official order with the power of legislation issued by a rule or person with authority, we are legislating with authority given to us by God Himself to bring about His already stated divine will.

When we speak His word which is already established in heaven, we enforce it through verbal agreement, our words becomes the bridge linking heaven and earth, we bring heaven to earth and when heaven is loosed in lives, things have to change.

When we make spiritual declaration based on the word, we are announcing to evil forces in high places saying “God’s word has preeminence over what we see in the natural and demand it’s obedience to the spoken living word.

The kingdom of God suffers violence Matt. 11:12, and only those who make violet declarations of faith will take it by force; also when we decree over another life the heart and word of God, we are like a guard dog on their behalf.

God has given us authority to decree, declare and proclaim changes in our lives, in the lives of others, in our environment mark 11:23, Luke 10:19, mark 16:17.

Simply put every decree done in faith in Christ Jesus will have heavenly approval and the forces of earth will have no choice than to co-operate with you.

PRAYER POINTS.

1) Let the positive forces swallow up the negative forces in Jesus name
2) O Lord Release your warrior angels to fight my battles in Jesus name.

Amaechi tackles Wike over ‘most corrupt administration’ tag.

Immediate past Rivers State Governor, Chibuike Amaechi, has described the “most corrupt administration” tag placed on him as a misrepresentation and the probe of his government by Governor Nyesom Wike as a witch-hunt and an attempt to deceive Nigerians, especially the people of the state.

He said that Governor Wike was bent on denigrating him with corruption tag using the media as ready tool.

In a statement he issued yesterday, the former governor said: “This so called Wike’s probe of Amaechi is dead on arrival. All the noise Wike is making is to grab media headlines with his lies of monumental corruption against Amaechi. It’s all drama made for the media. What is playing out is a script written and directed by Nyesom Wike. Wike should move to Nollywood where his devious skills would probably be useful.

“Even while inaugurating his yeoman commission of inquiry, Wike could not conceal his vendetta agenda. He was clear to the panel members that their job is to indict Amaechi.

“While it’s no longer in doubt what would be the report of Wike’s sham probe commission. What may shock Nigerians is the extent Wike has gone and is ready to go to manufacture stories of corrupt practices, and the kind of bogus tales of corruption against Amaechi that he would soon be feeding the nation.

“We are aware that even the chairman of his inquiry commission, was shocked and protested when Wike gave him the litany of phoney claims of corruption against Amaechi that the chairman would write in the panel’s report. But Wike had assured him not to worry that he had since been working towards arriving at that conclusion and he would provide the commission with all the (fake) evidence needed to arrive at that report.”

“Truly, since May 29, that is all Wike has been doing; cooking spurious reports of corruption against Amaechi. Wike has been intimidating, threatening, coercing and blackmailing officials of the past administration, especially civil servants into making false, phoney and bogus statements that would make legitimate government transactions appear as corrupt practices. Permanent Secretaries, Directors of Finance and Administration (DFAs), the state bankers and even contractors are harassed, threatened and blackmailed to twist and distort, or even completely alter legitimate government transactions in his desperation to cook up, and fabricate sham cases of corruption against Amaechi. This has been the one-point agenda of the Wike government, a vendetta mission against his former boss and benefactor.

“Amaechi will use every constitutional and legal means available to protect his name and image from this massive smear campaign, State-sponsored onslaught against him by this directionless, purposeless Wike-led government. As governor, Amaechi served his people well and the good things he did with the resources of the state are visible all over the state,” Amaechi said.

The former governor said he would dignify the former Deputy Governor Tele Ikuru “with a response…waste our energy on. This is a man with no dignity, no shame. No self-respecting man would talk the way Ikuru is talking right now. This is a character that served the Amaechi administration for almost eight years. While he was there, he never for once complained that Amaechi or the government that he was the second-in-command was corrupt. As a matter of fact, he was singing and parroting everywhere that Rivers State was truly blessed to have a governor like Amaechi, that Amaechi will always be remembered and hailed for changing for good the fortunes of Rivers State,” he said.

THEME: JESUS IS ABLE ( 21-06-2015 )

FOUNTAIN OF GRACE CHURCH OF GOD
MADRID-SPAIN.
HOST PASTOR: PASTOR DANIEL OBIDIEGWU.

TEL: +34632875301 (FOR COUNSELLING & PRAYERS.

Pastor Daniel Obidiegwu
Beloved, I wish to remind everyone that despite numerous disappointments and setbacks, Jesus is still able to reverse that ugly situation before the year ends, just put your faith in Him, live righteous and be at peace with God.
TEXT: Ephesians 3:20

The names of Jesus are El-shaddai or God Almighty meaning the one that is self-sufficient and able to do all things, with Him nothing whatsoever is impossible. He is Omni (All) –Potent (All powerful), Present(All seeing), Science(All knowing).

Jesus is the one that created all things, all created things are sustained by Him, Romans 11:36 says For of Him, and through Him, and to Him, are all things, and Acts 17:28a says that For in Him we live, and move, and have our being. He is able to raise the dead, save sinners from hell, heal the sick e.t.c, the book of Hebrew 7:25 had this to say wherefore He is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them.

The limitless ability of our Lord Jesus to do all things is settled in His word, whatsoever He did in the past, He can also do in the present; no power can withhold Him, infact, all powers be it principalities are in existence for His own purpose, Hallelujah.

Now because Jesus has ability to do all things, we have seen Him change situations, times and seasons to suite His own purpose, for example;

He can take a sinner and make him/her a saint, He can turn sorrow to joy, He is able to turn a hopeless case into something of celebration, He can make the barren woman a mother of many children, He is able to turn all doubts to faith, He is able to turn your lamentations into testimony, He is able to turn defeat to victory, He can raise an orphan to be the president of a country, He sets up kings on thrones and He dethrones kings from thrones, He makes a desert turn into fountains of running waters, He can shut the lions mouth to deliver His faithful one, He can make a fiery furnace turn to  air-condition to save His loved ones, this Jesus is the one that creates, delivers and will eventually judge all men according to His word.

Prayer points: Brethren seeing that Jesus is able to do all things, let us pray with the scriptures that portray some of these abilities.

1. He is able to do exceedingly Eph. 3:20
2. He is able to save to the uttermost Heb. 7:25
3. He is able to sympathize Heb. 4:15
4. He is able to supply all our needs Phil. 4:19
5. He is able to succor them that are tempted Heb. 2:18
6. He is able to deliver thee Daniel 6:20
7. He is able to heal Exodus 15:26b

May God answers our prayers today in Jesus name, Amen

Osun state replies Ben Murray Bruce - says he is mocking Nigerian workers.

Sen. Bruce
This evening Sen. Ben Murray-Bruce offered to donate his wardrobe allowance to Osun state workers who have not been paid their salaries for months (read here). Well, the government of Osun state didn't appreciate his 'kind' gesture and clapped back at him. They released a statement saying he is mocking Nigerian workers. Find the statement signed by the Director Bureau of Communication and Strategy, Office of the Osun state Governor below...

My attention has been drawn to a tweet by a member of Upper chamber of the National Assembly Senator Ben Murray Bruce of the PDP from Bayelsa saying he will not reject the alleged hefty pay for members of the National Assembly but collect it and donate to Osun workers. It is saddening and tragic that Mr. Murray Bruce whom many had accorded a lot of respect is too early in the day joining the fray of politicisation and trivialising the salary issue affecting more than half of the states of the federation in this ridiculous manner. While Nigerians are in hot debate over the alleged jumbo pay and the mood of the country Murray Bruce seems to have turned the plight of Nigerian workers to a thing of an entertainment. Of all the states in the federation who are battling to pay salaries as a result of the precarious economic situation his party the PDP threw Nigeria into why is it that it is Osun he wants to take his pay to?

This is certainly playing to the gallery and nothing but a mockery in the faces of Nigerian workers and not only of Osun extraction. It is not only wicked but ungodly to play politics with the suffering of the people. If the Senator’s conscience tells him his pay is too high especially in the face of the prevailing economic predicament of Nigeria the most honourable thing to do is to lead a protest for reduction and not a self serving philanthropy only in the direction of Osun workers.

Sen Chris Anyanwu Response to Prof Soyinka and others. ON THE SEXUAL OFFENCES BILL.

Sen Anyanwu
Anyanwu's response was contained in an open letter. Read letter below:

OPEN LETTER TO PROFESSOR WOLE SOYINKA ON HIS OPEN LETTER ON THE SEXUAL OFFENCES BILL BY SEN CHRIS ANYANWU

I have read your open letter published on PM NEWS and re-published on BELLANAIJA, premiumtimesnig.com and a number or on-line papers.

No one who read that letter could miss the fury embedded in your words. I know where that fury comes from: moral fiber, good conscience, and love of people. I want to assure you that it was the very same sentiments that drove me to come up with that bill and the same sentiments that led Senators and members to pass it.

As always, your aim was to speak as the voice of reason in our increasingly confused society. I know you meant well. I know you acted out of your deep compassion for Nigerians and fatherly love for the children.
But as I read your open letter, my heart sank because this time, my dear Baba, my dear icon, you are wrong; very wrong.

You have been misled by the misinformation circulated by someone who could not read or comprehend a legal draft; someone who did not have the patience to read through a proposal, see what was recommended and what was finally accepted.

You were misled by someone who deliberately distorted the content of one of the most profound bills ever passed by the Nigerian legislature, scandalized the proponent and the institution for reasons that you and I may not know.

No where in the SEXUAL OFFENCES BILL That I proposed; no where in the bill passed by Senate was it stated that you can defile an 11 years old. No where in the bill passed by the Senate was the age “11 years” mentioned.

Here is what was passed in relation to your area of pre-occupation which is defilement clause 6 (2):
“A person who commits an offence of defilement shall upon conviction be sentenced to imprisonment for life”.

You claimed that the bill re-defined “female adulthood as marital status”. Where in the bill proposed by me and where in the bill passed by Senate did you see adulthood linked to marital status? The extreme distortion of the spirit, intent and even content of this bill leads me to think that you may be talking about an all-together different piece of legislation.

For emphasis, let me state that the bill makes no such linkages as you erroneously stated. I think it may be fear of Sen Yerima that is at play here.

For your information, Senator Yerima and all other Senators who participated in the debate the two times the bill came up on the floor supported it as a vehicle for instituting a stringent law barring all ranges of sexual offences in Nigeria.

They did this because they also have children, wives, daughters, even mothers and cannot afford to leave them in the current state where abuses are rewarded with a slap on the wrist of the perpetrators
because our laws are outdated, without strong in-built deterrence and mechanisms for monitoring and control are absent.

This is just another case of people demonizing what is clearly in the public good because of deeply-set negative pre-dispositions towards individuals in an institution. By your strong advocacy against the bill, you have unwittingly stamped your feet in favor of maintaining the statusquo.

Where we are now..the statusquo.. is a world in which a six year old child is raped to death and then set ablaze. Where we are now is a place where a father rapes his 3 year old boys repeatedly and the mother weeps at night and cannot speak out out of shame and fear of her life.

Where we are now is a place where young Cynthia in her struggles for self employment ran into a gang who drugged her, raped and murdered her. Where we are now is a place where foreigners come for tourism and turn children into their objects of tourism.

With all due respect Sir, I want to express my deep disappointment with your hastiness in flowing with the mob on this matter. I blame your press officers. I think they should have advised caution. You have known me since the 1990’s. There is no way you could have sent fellers and I would not jump into the next flight to answer you.

Infact, a mere telephone call could have dispensed with the matter. If you had even asked someone to get you a copy of the Votes and Proceedings of Senate for that day which published the exact words in the legislation passed, you would have spared yourself the time and emotions spent over what is clear mischief circulated through the web.

The people who started it all are hate-mongers. The merely took advantage of the negative public feelings they have built up against the legislature. You have no business with such people Sir.

I am sure in the most inner recesses of your mind you know I cannot in anyway be associated with any anti-people law. Nothing in my personal history, professional antecedents or even the hard work I did to push through pro-people legislations in Senate, could lead anyone to think of me as capable of working against children, the very people I fought for over the course of my 8 years in Senate. The Sexual Offences bill is only one of many I did.

I also proposed the Occupational Safety and Health bill protecting workers in virtually all sectors of the economy from hazards at work. The only group excluded are those in the oil and gas sectors who have been extensively provided for in the PIB.

There was no “accident” as you call it involved in this legislation. Neither was there an error in judgement. The bill has been fabricated to provide a strong deterrence against abuses.

When implemented, It will mitigate the private sufferings of parents; reduce their fear of what happens in their absence to their children at school, in the play grounds, in the neighborhoods, even in religious spaces.
Nigeria today is not a safe place for children; not a safe place for girls; not a safe place for small boys; and it is not a safe place either for old women.

This legislation it proposes consigns punishments for abhorrent crimes such as we are seeing in our country today. It even covers crimes yet to arrive our shores.

Under this bill, pedophiles will be put away for life not made rock stars as we do today. This bill will bring sanity to our society. It will make Nigeria a better place for all. I suspect that some of those fighting against the bill are fixating on the short title. Its long title shows what it is: a sexual offences prevention bill; a tough deterrence to crime.

I want you to take time and read the final copy of the bill. You will be proud. You will realize that good things can come from Nigeria and Nigerians. It is not only legislations initiated by outsiders and handed to us locals to push for their passage that should be deemed as good for us.

By passing that bill, National Assembly has kept faith with the people of Nigeria. It has provided the cover of protection under which Nigerian children can live normal lives of fulfillment without fear.
By your robust advocacy against the bill preventing sexual abuses of children, you foreclose the future of children in this society.

But if I read you correctly, I have no doubt that you will reverse yourself on this once you have the correct information. This is why I have written youthis letter. You have made your first “imposition” on Mr. President based on your understanding of the false information circulated by the very offenders you despise.
I plead with you as a man who has been found to be a great man of honor and bestowed with the highest literary honor in the world to reconsider.

Let me on behalf of the innumerable victims of abuse in Nigeria; let me invoke the spirit of Cynthia who fell victim in Lagos; and let me plead on behalf of the many wives and husbands deliberately infected with HIV by their partners whose suffering impelled this bill, that you reverse your instruction to Mr. President.
The President of the Federal Republic looks to old sages like you for positive direction. That was what you intended to give him.

But now that you know the truth, for the sake of your long established reputation and known love for Nigeria, turn it around and urge Mr. President to sign this bill that will protect our people, restore sanity to society and make Nigeria a better place for all.
I remain your loyal admirer and sister,
Sen Chris Anyanwu.

Don’t Bribe Anyone to See Me, My Husband – Aisha Buhari.

Perhaps reacting to allegations of huge sums paid by visiting seeking audience with past Presidents and their first ladies, wife of the President, Mrs. Aisha Buhari, at the weekend, warned the public against yielding to any demand for gratification from anyone to have audience with the first couple.

“First Lady Aisha Muhammadu Buhari (right), wife of Vice President, Dolapo Osinbajo (middle), wife of Senate President, Toyin Saraki (left), and  some of Governors’ wives… at the Banquet Hall, State House, Abuja at the weekend.”

“I will like to inform you that in the past regime… whether it is true or false, only God knows… some people were going round and parading themselves as Personal Assistants.  If you wanted to see the First Lady, you will pay (between) $30,000 (and) $50,000. And if you are seeing the President, you will pay all that you have gathered in your lifetime.
“This will not happen in our regime. Whoever asks you to give a single penny in the name of coming to see the President or his wife is not our staff. He is not an APC (All Progressives Congress) member. It is a lie, don’t be deceived”, she warned.
She stressed that it was such behaviour by presidential aides of the past administration of ex-President Goodluck Jonathan that contributed to its downfall.
Mrs. Buhari agreed that President Jonathan was himself a good man surrounded by such aides that were not honest with him, a situation she hoped her husband would not find himself in.
Her words: “There was nothing that people did not say about the past administration. It is not Jonathan that is not good, but the people around him.  So, the people that are going to be around Buhari have to be very careful because the election ended peacefully.”
“We are praying and hoping that people around him should know that it took him 12 years to get to that position and they must know that they are coming to serve the masses, not Buhari in person.  It is the people that are around him that will determine the political health of our state.”
Aisha also used the forum to canvass for policies or legislation that can curtail high rate of divorce in the northern parts of the country as well as oppressive widowhood practices in the south.
Specifically, she wants alimony to be paid to divorcees in such circumstances, while efforts are made to ensure better women representation in government.
According to her: “The women of Nigeria are not asking for equal representation, but rather a fair representation.
“As you are all aware, they were the major voters, we constitute more than 50 per cent and in the end, we found out that the number of female legislators that we used to have declined. I do not think this is fair for women. We feel we are not represented.
“We should now make it as a mission in the next four years, to fight for fair representation of women in both leadership and decision-making bodies. Other problems like high rate of divorce in the North are a major setback for the Northern Nigeria. I think something has to be done. A guideline should be given on divorce.
“In the next four years if you are divorced in the North you can have what is called alimony. Whichever way our people may like to operate: whether based on religion or customarily, something has to be done on divorce in Northern Nigeria and the widowhood rights in the South.
“Because you have lost your husband, it will be like an end of the world for you.  Something has to be done about it customarily or in the modern way. The women from the southern part of the country can’t continue living under suppression or oppression just because they are widows.”
She expressed delight that she had transmuted from wife of a former president (head of state) to wife of a president and promised to help her husband work for Nigerians.
“I want to thank all Nigerian women and youths for the crucial roles you played towards the success of the last election. I am very much aware of your steadfastness during the electioneering campaigns up till the elections proper. I wish to acknowledge your efforts which contributed significantly to our success story.”
“An occasion like this will naturally offer us an atmosphere to interact and reflect on how to play more supportive roles to our government at all levels for the benefit of our people”, she said.

South Africa court bars indicted Sudan leader from leaving.

Bashir
JOHANNESBURG- A South African judge barred Sudan's indicted president from leaving the country on Sunday, in a deepening rift between Africa and the West over what Pretoria called anti-poor country bias in the International Criminal Court (ICC).
President Omar al-Bashir, visiting South Africa for an African Union summit, stands accused in an ICC arrest warrant of war crimes and crimes against humanity over atrocities committed in the Darfur conflict. He was first indicted in 2009.
A judge is expected on Monday to hear an application calling for Bashir's arrest, though this appears unlikely as South Africa's government has granted legal immunity to all African Union delegates.
South African President Jacob Zuma's ruling African National Congress (ANC) responded furiously to Sunday's court order, accusing the Hague-based ICC of seeking to impose selective Western justice by singling out Africans.
"The ANC holds the view that the International Criminal Court is no longer useful for the purposes for which it was intended," the ANC said in a statement.
"Countries, mainly in Africa and Eastern Europe ... continue to unjustifiably bear the brunt of the decisions of the ICC, with Sudan being the latest example."
A human rights group, the Southern African Litigation Centre, earlier petitioned the Pretoria High Court to force the government to issue an arrest warrant for Bashir.
Judge Hans Fabricius postponed the hearing until 0930 GMT on Monday to allow the government time to prepare its case, urging South African authorities to "take all necessary steps" to prevent Bashir leaving the country.
Sudan's government defended the South African visit of Bashir, who was sworn in this month in Khartoum for another five-year term, and said the court order had "no value".
"We contacted South Africa in advance and informed them that the president would participate and they highly welcomed his participation," Sudan's State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Kamal Ismail, told reporters in Khartoum.
"What is being mentioned in the media is a propaganda campaign against Sudan," Ismail added.
GUARANTEES.
The conflict in Darfur has killed as many as 300,000 people and displaced 2 million, the United Nations says.
"He (Bashir) would be a fool if he had not sought guarantees that he would not be transferred before leaving for South Africa," one ICC official told Reuters, asking not to be named.
The ICC issued a statement asking Pretoria "to spare no effort in ensuring the execution of the arrest warrants".
It said the court's members had "deep concern" about the negative consequences if any signatory state failed to assist in detaining Bashir.
A foreign ministry spokesman in South Africa, which is an ICC signatory and therefore obliged to implement arrest warrants, did not respond to requests for comment on Sunday.
The ANC called for a review of ICC statutes to make them apply to all United Nations members to ensure a "fair and independent court for universal and equitable justice".
The United States' decision not to sign the ICC's Rome Statute has caused resentment among African states.

THEME: CHRISTIAN COMPROMISE (Sunday 14-06-2015 )

FOUNTAIN OF GRACE CHURCH OF GOD
MADRID-SPAIN.
HOST PASTOR: PASTOR DANIEL OBIDIEGWU.
TEL: +34632875301 (FOR COUNSELLING & PRAYERS.

Pastor Daniel Obidiegwu
Beloved, I pray for the grace to return to our first love, we must stop all compromises, it is a deadly sin that can lead to doom.

Text: Romans 12:2

Compromised Christian is the one that tries to serve God and the world at the same time. He searches for a middle ground to balance his allegiance to God and the world. The bible says that no one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other: or else he will hold to the one and despise the other Luke 16:13.

With this scripture in mind it follows that to live a compromised life as a believer is worse than unbelieving; for the unbelieving soul can today accept the free offer of salvation and be saved, but the compromised believer is on a dangerous road of self-deceit and doom.

The Bible gives us an example in Revelation 2 of such a compromised church: it was Pergamos, located in Pergamum, the capital of Asia Minor. Known for its rampant idolatry, Pergamum housed the altar of Zeus and was the center of Caesar worship. Idolatry, wickedness, and sexual immorality were commonplace. The sin of Pergamum was its toleration of evil, a sort of “IT DOESN’T MATTER GOD UNDERSTANDS” philosophy.

Sadly, this is how most people want it today. They want to go to church, they certainly want to go to heaven, but they still want to live in sin. They want to party and sin and commit immorality, lie when necessary, cheat if they have to, steal if it suits them, and hate and get revenge when someone crosses them.

It is the idea of sinning to your heart's content, telling yourself God will understand. If you think you can sin to your heart's content without repercussions, and if you think you can go out and break the commandments of God over and over because you're an exception to the rule, then you are deceiving yourself.

Compromise begins with leaving your first love for Jesus Christ, which leads to compromise, which leads ultimately to immorality, idolatry, and other sins.

Show me a person who is not living in close fellowship with God and I will show you a person who is on the way to bigger problems. It is only a matter of time. The best antidote to the allurements and temptations of this world is a passionate love relationship with Jesus Christ.

If there is a breakdown in your relationship with God, it is only a matter of time until compromises start making their way into your life, until you start lowering your standards here and there. Keep your guard up. Stay close to Jesus, let the fire of the first love burn brightly, and you will be strong. I can't promise that you will be sin-free. But you will have the power and resolve you need to live a life that pleases God.
Beloved I reproduce the 50 signs of no compromise Christian as compiled by so4j.com to enable us to understand and copy good Christian virtues.

MY POSITION AS AN APC MEMBER ON THE EVENT AT THE SENATE AND HOUSE OF REP. IN NIGERIA. I NEED A POSITIVE CHANGE IN NIGERIA`S POLITICAL SYSTEM.

Prince Kelly O. Udebhulu
Fellow Nigerians!

Definitely, my party (APC) leadership will respond officially  to the happening soonest as regards to the official stand of the Party and that of President Buhari`s over what happened at the National Assembly today. I remain loyal to the party (APC) and I hate to be part of anything that will undermine, relegate, or jeopardize the party or do anything to undermine the Government of our leader, President Buhari. It is politically, morally and logically wrong to actively campaigned and mobilized our people to defeat the PDP during the Presidential election at the general polls and now handover key positions to them at the National Assembly. APC loyalists, supporters and Nigerians who need “change” did not vote for a diluted government rather they voted for change and a positive change for that matter. PDP or any other person(s) `s plot to ruin selfishly (personal) the desired change in Nigeria will not work except not the desire of God for positive political/economic change to arrive Nigeria.

Breaking News! Why APC postponed NASS Inauguration

ABUJA-MORE facts emerged Tuesday why the All Progressives Congress, APC, postponed the inauguration of the 8th Assembly.

Sources close to the party told Vanguard that the adoption of Senator Ike Ekweramadu as Senator Bukola Saraki’s deputy invoked the wrath of the APC leadership and ordered that the inauguration should be shifted to a later date.

According to one of the sources, the party never bargained for a diluted government in whatever level and would do everything to stop the anti-party activities of some of their members.

He said,”honestly we never expected this sudden interest of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP that had initially said it was not interested in NASS leadership to now start championing it”.

“We got hint of this development at about 4.am  and had to swing into action”.

“This sudden interest of the PDP  was why we shifted the inauguration and ensure we put the House in order before another date will be scheduled”.

“As you know the Hon Yakubu Dogara camp went too far in all they have done in the last two weeks heating the polity unnecessarily for no just cause”.

“On Monday night we had a parade of those that will vote for Hon Femi Gbajabiamila and 203 lawmakers signified their interest so it could have been a done deal if not for the antics of some of us who want power by all means”.

“Nigerians did not vote for a diluted government rather they voted for change and a positive change for that matter”.

“One thing I can assure you of is that the APC will cross this bridge without a stain and the PDP will woefully fail”.

Another source also spoke in the same vein saying”we can’t inaugurate the House for now until we get a clear signal that the coast is clear”.
