Beloved, before our eyes
the church has become worldly and the world has become churchy, there is
increased persecution of righteous Christians within the church, many believers
are now going where the notorious unbelievers dare not go, things have fallen apart,
many that started in the Spirit are fast ending up in the flesh, in the face of
all these challenges, how should we then live?

1 Peter 3: 3-4
Brethren,
the church that Christ purchased with His blood and asked us to occupy till He
comes has turned worldly and the world has turned churchy; how should we then
live and still hold on to our salvation?
Let
us examine two important scriptures that points out the attitude of the leaders
of the churches and also of their followers at the later times; now the
Spirit speaks expressly that in the latter times some shall depart from the
faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of the devils, speaking
lies in hypocrisy, having their conscience seared with a hot iron: For the time
will come when they will not endure sound doctrine but after their own lusts
shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears, and they shall
turn away their ears from the truth and shall be turned unto fables (
1 Timothy 4:1-2, 2 Timothy 4:3-4).
We
no longer hear the messages of righteousness and love which are the most
important Godly virtues that believers in Christ must aspire to possess; 1 Peter
1:15 admonish us to be holy just as God who has called us is holy, 1 John 4:8
tells us that God is love and he that does not love does not know God.
Hebrew
12:14 combines the two important virtues when it declares that peace
with all men and holiness is the key to enter heaven for believers
in Christ; today, believers for no reason select who to greet and who not to.
Believers discriminate fellow believers in the same church base on race, tribe,
doctrine, dressing or ideology, on the contrary the bible says we should be an
example to other believers in words, in conversation, in love, in
Spirit, in faith, in purity 1 Timothy 4:12.
Brethren,
how should we then live?, when some leaders of the churches and many of their
followers are adorned in the robe of sin having discarded the robe of holiness,
today in the church sin is not only practiced but also encouraged, those
striving to live holy are marginalized, persecuted, reproached and ridiculed 2
Tim. 3:1-7.
Envy
and strife are rife in the churches today bringing with it confusion and all
sorts of evil works James 3:16.
The
church has turned into a theater with sin being dramatized and openly displayed
for everyone to see; nowadays many believers engage in sin and their friends
within the church help to cover it up, but the bible made it clear that both
the sinner and those who help to cover it up are on the same boat prov.
17:15, prov. 24:24-25, prov.28:3, 23.
God
has consolation and reward for those speaking against the iniquities that go on
in the church were so many have kept quiet because of friendship or position,
God said that judgment will start in the church 1 peter 4:17, His
angels are already going around the churches marking those who are
living holy and are speaking against the abominations Ezekiel
9:4; God also made us to choose where we will belong, either with the
hypocritical majority, who are not only deceiving others but also deceiving
themselves 1 cor. 11:19; 2 peter 3:17-18; my prayer is that if
we are operating in ignorance may God open our eyes today in Jesus name, on the
other hand if because of position, wealth or recognition we have sold out our
virtues of holiness and love to the devil, today we have opportunity to repent
and restitute our ways, as a matter of fact we should go right back and be to
Jesus what He has ordained us to be amen.
Finally
brethren our Lord has promised a lot for those who would not yield an inch to
be enticed to compromise their faith and Godly principles or be broken down by
the wickedness of man, thus we are exhorted to fight the good fight of faith
and to lay hold to eternal life. Remember that the Lord is coming soon for His
disciples and hypocritical believers He is going to reject make sure you are
among the “rapturable”, remain blessed in Jesus name.

God gives you the strength to worship Him in Jesus Name..Amen
